What Inspires You?

As a health coach, many come to work with me because they have a problem they want to fix in their lives. Perhaps they feel they are out of options, discouraged and feeling like maybe things can never change.


How can you get unstuck?


Focus on the good. What inspires you? Think of something in your life that you just do for the sake of enjoyment. Do you feel your "flow" where time and space can melt away when you are in the zone doing this activity? Where does your mind wander when you have a moment to yourself? What is fun to you?


Now take that forward. Imagine if you could expand this into other parts of your life going forward. For example, say you love gardening. Your doctor recently recommended you get more active beyond the garden time. Perhaps working with exercises and a fitness professional to design a workout for you that makes you a stronger gardener would ignite your exercise routine and inspire you a new way. It can bring more meaning to other activities to your life when you connect them with what matters most to you.
